Nashville’s real estate market is red hot. One reason may be Kim Blanton, an agent with RE/MAX Elite, who has racked up impressive sales in this, her 20th year in real estate.

Blanton, a longtime Nashville resident, reinvented herself two decades ago after a high-flying career in private and business aviation management and sales. She conquered real estate using the same skills she developed while owning her own aviation business.

Her experience in industry helped her develop specialty markets for high-end clients. She has specialized in horse properties for equestrians, luxury homes for the higher-end and affluent buyer, and lake homes for those who seek the tranquility of waterfront living.

“Time passes quickly when you love what you’re doing,” Blanton said. “But what’s even more important is that my clients feel that same commitment while working with me.”

Blanton has a Rolodex full of clients who have used her services multiple times. Christine Latham of White House, Tenn., says she and her husband have availed themselves of Kim’s services on seven real estate transactions over the last 20 years.

To commemorate her 20th year in real estate, Blanton has built a special real estate website, providing home buyers with at least 33 specialized search filters and niche selection criteria. One feature allows subscribers to receive new listings via email minutes after they become available on the market.

“It took me twenty years of hard work,” Blanton said. “I want to show my gratitude to all who helped me get here.”
